Walnut Butcher Block Brick Pattern

End grain walnut butcher block in a brick pattern.  The bricks are black walnut and the “mortar” is hard maple.  End grain boards are easier on your knives than edge grain, and hide cut marks a little better because you are cutting with the grain and not across it.  The grain pattern of each board is unique because each tree is unique.  We go through painstaking steps on each one of these boards to give you something that we are sure you will treasure.  Boards are not glued at random, but they are carefully aligned and chosen.
